We're looking up to our heroes
V1 If you had watched your father die on a motorbike
And the next day lost your uncle too
And you were set to race in the selfsame place
What does that Do to you
BR 1 would you shrug it off or over compensate
perhaps just get back on and ride
never mind about how confused you feel inside
V2 I cried when I heard bob marley died
He was way too young to go
John lennon was shot the world was shocked
No-one knew what to do
BR 2 You can say that it doesn’t matter
You can say that you don’t care
But who are you fooling when they’re no longer there
CH Were looking up to our heroes
1st time] We like em crazy and brave
2nd time] they’re helping us to go on
3rd time] We like em crazy and brave
It’s tragic when they leave us
1st ] We celebrate what they gave
2nd] how could it go so wrong
3rd longer ] We celebrate what they gave
[solos]
BR3 I don’t want to know it feels like
when someone you worship dies
you keep it all in
and you think that’ll make it fine
