Album Note
This Album was directly inspired by my trip to Nashville, Memphis, New Orleans & Las Vegas and recall to me the excitement of travelling (which I still enjoy and feel) and the lure of faraway places and new experiences.
Returning to the suburbs is always quite a comedown so my music in this album contains mostly escapism but also the start of some really strong feelings of depression and low self-worth.
An album written and recorded after John's trip to the States in 2015.
John spent time in Nashville and Memphis Tennessee, New Orleans Louisiana and also in Arizona and Nevada and experienced first-hand the power of American music. Coming home to the reality of suburbia triggered a collection of songs about home but influenced by the wider world
